Territory Sales Manager – Hood Cleaning & Kitchen Fire Protection Services

Job Overview:
Hoods Unlimited is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth in our commercial kitchen service sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling hood cleaning services to restaurants, schools, hotels, hospitals, and other commercial kitchens. In addition, they will promote kitchen fire suppression services and hood installation services as secondary offerings.
This role requires an individual who is proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing a sales pipeline while maintaining strong client relationships within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business for hood cleaning services across commercial kitchens in the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with restaurant owners, facility managers, and decision-makers in schools, hotels, hospitals, and other food service establishments.
- Cold call, visit, and network to identify new sales opportunities and generate leads.
- Promote and cross-sell kitchen fire suppression service and hood installation services where applicable.
- Conduct on-site assessments, gather information, and work with the internal team to provide accurate quotes for service.
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline with weekly reporting on activity, lead status, and closed deals.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.
- Attend networking events and industry trade shows as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven sales experience in B2B sales, preferably in service-based industries (facility maintenance, restaurant services, fire protection, or similar).
- Experience in commercial kitchen services, fire suppression systems, or HVAC/ventilation sales is a plus but not required.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to manage and grow a defined sales territory.
- Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per year

- Earn 8-14% commission on total sales, based on service frequency
- Commission is paid weekly
- Monthly car allowance of $300
- Company fuel card provided for work-related travel
